Drop the application block on any page from the theme editor. Buyers submit their business details, resale certificate, and tax ID — no theme code, works without JavaScript.
You review everything in one queue
Each application arrives with the certificate preview, tax ID, and the buyer's story in one place. Approve, or decline with an optional templated reason. Spam never reaches you — honeypot and timing traps filter it silently.
One click creates the real thing
Approval creates a native Shopify B2B Company: contact linked to any existing customer account, your wholesale catalog assigned, net-terms template applied, and a welcome email with their login link. No copy-pasting into admin, ever.
Why native B2B objects matter
Most wholesale registration apps were built before Shopify's B2B suite reached every plan in 2026. They approve buyers by tagging a customer record, which means your "wholesale customers" live outside Shopify's B2B system — no company profiles, no native net terms, no B2B catalogs, and a migration headache later. Wholesale Gate writes to the same Companies, catalogs, and payment-terms objects Shopify Plus merchants use, so your wholesale program is built on the platform's own rails from day one.
Honest limits: Wholesale Gate handles applications and onboarding. It doesn't set wholesale prices (native catalogs do that), and certificate verification against state registries stays a human decision — we just put everything you need in front of you.
Common questions
Does this work without Shopify Plus?
Yes — that's the point. Shopify's native B2B features (companies, catalogs, net terms) reached all plans in spring 2026; Wholesale Gate builds the missing application flow on top of them.
What happens to buyers who already have a customer account?
Approval links their existing account to the new company automatically, matched by email. They sign in as usual and see wholesale pricing.
Can I collect a resale certificate?
Yes — PDF, JPG, or PNG up to 4 MB, stored privately and shown to you with a secure preview link. You can also require tax/resale ID as a text field.
What does it cost?
Free for up to 5 applications a month. The Growth plan ($14.99/month, 14-day trial) removes the limit and adds custom fields and email templates. Applications over the free limit are never lost — they unlock when you upgrade.
What data do you store?
Only what applications contain, processed on your behalf — see the privacy policy. Uninstalling deletes everything after Shopify's 48-hour window.
